He is risen! Alleluia! Notice the rabbit just above the entrance of the tomb in the above image -- it's the Easter Bunny! Fr. Selvester explains: "Older depictions of the resurrection such as this one often included a rabbit in the background. In former times it was thought that rabbits had both a male and female part. That's why they multiplied so quickly. While the male part slept the female was awake and vice versa. So, it was thought, rabbits were awake 24 hours a day and were, consequently, among the first to witness the resurrection. THAT's how we got a bunny as a symbol of this day."
