My Kitchen

I've been promising my family for a while that I would post some pictures of our apartment. At long last, here are a few shots of the kitchen, taken when we had everything set up before a small "Happy New Semester" get-together we hosted a couple of weeks ago.

The whole (tiny) thing, as viewed from the laundry nook:
The sink side, with the living room in the background:
And here's the other side. As you can see, I don't have much counter space at all, but the cabinets are pretty great. The breadmaker usually lives on top of the refrigerator; it was in use when this shot was taken. The mug hooks under the cabinet were a fantastic idea that Paul did for me. They save us a ton of space.
This last one was taken from the living room; you can see our dining table (set up for our little gathering):
The mirror was an awesome find at a BA Framers going-out-of-business sale over the summer ($10!). The ledge over the sink isn't usually so cluttered -- it was serving as the bar for our party. You can't quite see it in any of these pictures, but I store my Wilton Armetale pieces (we have a handful that were wedding presents), my crystal bowl that is too pretty to keep in the closet, and some miscellaneous cobalt pieces up on top of the cabinets on the refrigerator side of the kitchen. They make it a bit cheerier in there; the beige cabinets are more than a little bland.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of my kitchen. I'll try to take some pictures of the rest of the apartment soon!
